Whether you want to reduce discoloration caused by sun damage, clear up breakouts or smooth away the look of wrinkles, chemical peels are proven to noticeably improve your skin in more ways than one.

A Skin Consultation & Enzyme Exfoliation will determine your future treatment plan. Your skin must be prepped with products chosen by your Aesthetician.

 Enzyme Exfoliation

Enzymes are topically applied solutions that specifically target the keratin protein on the skin to break it down. While gently exfoliating the surface of the skin they have anti-inflammatory properties and ingredients to balance the pH of the skin and bring it back to life. They are a quick, economical, no-downtime way to improve the appearance of your skin instantly. Enzyme treatments make a great introduction to treatment-based skincare, as they are powerful enough to begin to the cell turnover process and target surface skin imperfections; and yet gentle enough for maintenance or skin that has not been properly prepared.

Available Enzymes are Vita Brite Refresh and Pumpkin Plus. Both are packed with antioxidants, plant stem cells, peptides and skin healing vitamins that will make your skin look softer, smoother, and more radiant. Your esthetician will choose the best one for your skin condition and treatment goals.

 Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are tailored and cocktailed to meet deeper skin concerns and dramatically change the skin. They are applied topically in one or multiple layers depending on the clients concern. Chemical peel treatments are more aggressive than enzyme treatments, and are designed to deliver optimal results. Working from the inside of the skin out; peeling may take multiple days to appear and downtime is expected with these treatments.

We offer a variety of peels including Beta Plus Rebuilder, Hydroxy 30, Jessner, Lactic Clear, Sal Pulp and TCA.  All peels are tailored and cocktailed to meet your skin condition and range from mild to aggressive. Chemical Peels correct, clear and brighten the skin while helping with the following:

- Evening skin tone by correcting photo-damaged, pigmented or melasma effected skin

- Managing problematic skin by reducing acne, evening overall texture and replenishing and balancing skin help to minimize the appearance of acne scars and acne related pigment

- Treating aging skin by correcting stubborn lines and wrinkles, lightening pigment and renewing and repairing skin

Chemical Peels may also include Microdermabrasion for a combination called a MicroPeel. Combing both modalities; a diamond tip microdermabrasion coupled with either an enzyme or chemical peel gives the perfect mix of exfoliation, hydration and treatment.

*Client cannot have contraindications to either modality.

 Green Power

Green Power is a great way to combine the benefits of Microneedling with Chemical Resurfacing. Using a blend of herbs mixed with an Enzyme or Chemical Peel these hard working exfoliators when massaged into the skin will mimic needling by creating thousands of micro channels into the skin. The channels will stimulate the skin to produce collagen and elastin while the carrier chosen (Enzyme or Chemical) will target according to your skin goals. This is a great option for targeting acne scarring, stubborn fine lines and wrinkles, and lifting deep hyperpigmentation. 4-6 Treatments Recommended.

As this is considered an aggressive treatment expect downtime.

Consultations

Booking a clinical treatment service can be extremely confusing, which is why we require a consultation first. We will first begin with a treatment that includes a basic cleanse ---enzyme exfoliation --- hydrate --- protect routine so that your Aesthetician can assess your skin. After your treatment your Aesthetician will further discuss your skincare goals, concerns, timeline and treatment plan while advising on new skincare products to begin reaching your skincare target.

The Skin Consultation & Enzyme is necessary to make sure you and your Aesthetician have the same expectations and goals for your skincare journey with us!

How to prepare for  your consultation:

1.     Come with a clean face

We mean it, freshly washed and no makeup, completely bare of all product.

A clean face helps speed up our time together so we can see your skin in its natural state to recommend a custom plan

 2.     Know your products

We’ll want to know anything and everything that goes on your skin, so make a list of your product names and brands; bringing them in works too.

 3.     Be open-minded

Skincare is often best left to professionals, so although you might be interested in a specific service, we will recommend treatments and products that will work well with your skin to achieve your goals.

 Treatment Experience

Please arrive to your Enzyme or Chemical Peel appointment with your makeup already removed.

Every Enzyme Resurfacing and Chemical Peels begins with a double cleanse to remove followed by a priming solution to remove all of the outer debris and prep the skin for the enzyme or chemical peel. The solution is then applied evenly and gradually; it is not uncommon for some redness, darkening, swelling, or frosting to occur depending on the solution and layers applied. If the acid needs to be neutralized it will be done, followed by a cold compress of towels or cool globes to properly calm down the skin. Next will be a moisturizer & SPF or a Mineral Retinol Seal and SPF.

Expect skin tightening the first day. The skin may feel tight; if a light peel was used the skin may become wrinkled and flakey; if a medium or more aggressive peel was used peeling may not begin for 48-96 hours and typically last 4-7 days. Once the peeling slows down and stops the skin will begin its healing process. The outer visible layers of the skin may still be pink/sensitive and it is especially important to protect this new skin with SPF everyday and moisturize it 2-3 times daily as needed. Soon your new skin will be revealed; results will be visible, cells will have turned over, new collagen and elastin production will be amped up resulting in reduced blemishes, even texture and skin tone, firmer skin, and improved discoloration.
